Volunteer For The Ashland Little League

Why we need Volunteers: Volunteers help to keep the registration fees low.  Parents volunteer in many areas of Ashland Little League.  Some use their professional training to do things such as electrical work on the batting cages and scoreboards while the majority assist the manager and team parent and work shifts in the snack bar.

Required Volunteer Activity: Parents are required to work shifts in the snack bar as per the schedule set by the team parent.  Please work with the team parent to cover the obligations of the team.

Why are parents scheduled when their children are playing? The number one question from parents about volunteering is about the scheduling of parents to work  in the snack bar when their child’s team is playing.  Many leagues have tried to implement volunteer shifts when a team is not playing and what normally occurs in such situations are a high rate of volunteer absences.

Other volunteer needs: The Ashland Little League is always looking for volunteers to help increase endorsements, maintenance on the fields and bleachers, financial and legal support.  Please seek out a Board member to volunteer your services.
