Hello Members of the Ashland Little League,

Every year the Ashland Little League holds an annual meeting where elections to the Board of Directors takes place, officers of that Board are chosen, and tasks are divided among the members of the Board  tasks for the coming season.  On Wednesday, September 8th at 6 pm, in the Senior Center located at 1600 Homes Avenue, the meeting will begin.

As always, the Ashland Little League works because of volunteers who help manage the snack bar, keep our facilities in good condition, manage and coach our baseball teams, organize the softball teams, fundraise, manage our website, work with our sponsors and much more.  Anyone wishing to help develop the 2011 season should come to this meeting and be a member of the League’s Board of Directors.   Along with the elections, this meeting will review our Constitution and rules as well as a timeline, and budget for the 2011 season.

If you are unable to make the meeting, please feel free to email the League’s President with your suggestions for the coming season.  ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Play Ball!

{From Sean Gallagher - Organizer: The Stick Guy}

Hey All-
Big Stickball event this weekend; stickball this Sunday will be at 11:30am at the school across from the tennis courts at Hunter Park.  We will start with a stickball Home Run Derby, which all are invited to partake in, and then we will begin the stickball game, adults vs the pipsqueaks (anyone under 25 years old), immediately after.  After the Stickball game concludes I will take a short break and be back on Hunter Field for our weekly wiffle ball at 4:30 pm.

I apologize for not getting this out yesterday, but I have been extremely busy.
