Baseball Mentoring Program Instructional Camp: March 25-27, 2011

What: Instructional baseball camp with former professional baseball players

When: March 25-27

Where: U.S. Cellular Community Park

Cost: $130 per player

Led by former MLB players Jalal and Jarman Leach, this program offers cutting edge instruction in the skills and philosophy of baseball.  Don't miss this opportunity to improve your skills and learn from Major League players and scouts!  Jalal is a current Major League Scout for the New York Yankee organization.

This announcement is intended as a community service to the Ashland Baseball Community only. The following event is not affiliated with Ashland Little League in any way.

The San Francisco Giants have selected U.S. Cellular Community Park as an official stop on its World Champions Trophy Tour.  The World Series trophy will be on display at the five-field softball/baseball complex on Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.  The Tour stop is in conjunction with the third-annual Medford Parks and Recreation “March Mayhem” youth baseball tournament, which attracted over two dozen teams to U.S. Cellular Community Park last year.

Please remember that when you use these fields to rake and clean them for the next team that uses them.
