Eligibility for divisions is based on "league age". To calculate your player's league age, consult the official Little League League Age Determination App.
Note that both boys and girls are invited to play baseball while softball is reserved for girls. Note also your daughter's league age may differ between softball and baseball.

BASEBALL DIVISIONS
Tee Ball
Age: 4-6 Years Old
Philosophy: Tee Ball is an introduction to the game of baseball centered around a fun atmosphere. Players hit off a batting tee and generally the rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. Practices/games are usually 1-2 days per week and are either during the week or on Saturdays in Ashland.
Rookies - Coach Pitch
Age: 6-8 Years Old
Philosophy: Rookies is a coach pitch league and players will learn the fundamentals of baseball along with the value of being on a team. Coaches pitch to players in order to keep the game moving along and there are no scorekeepers or umpires in this league. Practices/games are usually 2-3 days per week and are either during the week or on Saturdays. All practices and home games are in Ashland. Occasional games are in Phoenix/Talent.
Minors
Age: 8-11 Years Old
Philosophy: Minors is a player pitch division and meant to be the first introduction to competitive baseball. There are umpires and scorekeepers and coaches spend time developing and reinforcing baseball skills such as throwing, catching, fielding and hitting. There is a tournament at the end of the season with a championship game and an All-Stars team that will compete in the District Tournament. Practices/games are 2-3 days a week. Home games are in Ashland and away games are played in Phoenix/Talent, Medford and Central Point. All players must attend the Skills Assessment Day and each player will be drafted to a team.
Majors
Age: 10-12 Years Old
Philosophy: Majors is a player pitch division and meant to be competitive baseball. There are umpires and scorekeepers and coaches spend time developing and reinforcing baseball skills such as throwing, catching, fielding and hitting. Philosophy: 50/70 league is a player pitch division and is played on a slightly larger field: 50 foot pitching mound and 70 foot bases. It is designed to be a bridge between a Little League field and a high school field. Practices/games are 3-4 days a week. Home games are played in Ashland and away games are played in Phoenix/Talent, Medford and Central Point. All players must attend the Skills Assessment Day and each player will be drafted to a team.

Rookies
