Thanks for your interest in volunteering! A great season depends on volunteers for a variety of jobs, big and small. 

Any person that comes in contact with players (umpire, coach, assistant, etc.) must be a cleared volunteer prior to working with the kids. Little League International requires that we do a background check and have a copy of government issued ID for each person. This process must be done every year, even if you volunteered in prior years.

Please follow the steps below to successfully submit the application to volunteer. 

1. Complete the background check HERE
2. Complete the free Head's Up training HERE (takes approx. 20 minutes), and download the completion certificate that is sent to you (Heads Up training is a free, online course that teaches all volunteers to understand, recognize and prevent concussions. It is good for two years; log in to check if you're certificate is still valid)
3. Complete the Little League Abuse Awareness Training HERE (create an account first and enter "ASHLAND LL" under Your Associated League; taxes approx. 30 minutes)
4. Email the following documents to [email protected]
   1. Copy of your ID
   2. Heads Up Certificate
   3. Abuse Awareness Certificate
   4. Background Check Verification
   5. What you want to volunteer for (see options below)
